About This Course

United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Asia-Pacific, in collaboration with Gender at Work, is offering a course that will enable members of the business community to better understand the intersections of LGBTI rights and the world of business and provide practical examples of how to align their policies and practices with international standards. The UNGPs and the LGBTI Business Standards will provide guidance and a framework of analysis for participants, as they examine the current state of LGBTI rights in the Asia-Pacific; gender discrimination and bias in business; actions to strengthen diversity and inclusion; and case studies from the region highlighting best practice and current challenges. 

The course, Business and LGBTI Rights (B+LGBTI), a blend of theory and practical guidance, will enhance participant understanding of the intersections of LGBTI rights and business in Asia. It will also enable them to develop skills and strategies to better align their policies and practices with international standards on LGBTI rights.
